Welcome! I was drawn to counseling through my love of individuals and their ability to become their highest potential selves. I love to help others overcome present challenges and past trauma experiences. I value the ability to develop strong professional relationships with clients and desire to understand each individual’s emotional processes and healing.
I have obtained my Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I use a combination of the Humanistic, Cognitive Behavioral, and Attachment theories. I use a more directive and person-centered approach focusing on the client and their individual needs. I specialize in teenage & young adult mental health, self-identity building, and improving healthy holistic well-being. I also focus on individuals challenged with substance abuse, concentrating on sobriety, relapse prevention, and implementing healthy alternatives. Furthermore, I practice with proficiency in adult counseling emphasizing in an array of mental health diagnosis, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, trauma, marriage, and family therapy.
